1. Our mission
We exist to help fans follow sport accurately, quickly and fairly. Speed matters, but never at the expense of getting it right. When those two goals conflict, accuracy wins.
2. Accuracy and verification
- Scores and statistics are sourced from official feeds and rights-holders and cross-checked before publishing.
- Breaking news is verified with at least two credible sources, or clearly attributed to a single named source when it cannot be.
- We distinguish clearly between confirmed fact, reporting, and speculation or rumour.
- We do not publish unverified transfer or injury claims as fact.
3. Sourcing and attribution
We credit our sources wherever possible and link to original reporting. Anonymous sources are used sparingly, only when the information is in the public interest and cannot be obtained on the record, and always with editor sign-off.
4. Independence
Our editorial decisions are made by our newsroom alone. Advertisers, sponsors, sports bodies and commercial partners have no influence over what we cover or the conclusions we reach. Coverage is never for sale.
5. Separating journalism from advertising
Sponsored content, affiliate links and branded partnerships are always clearly labelled — for example as “Sponsored” or “Partner content” — and are visually distinct from independent journalism. See our Terms and the advertising standards on our advertise page.
6. Fairness and right of reply
We report on individuals and organisations fairly. When we make allegations of wrongdoing, we seek comment before publishing and reflect responses accurately. We respect privacy and avoid gratuitous intrusion, especially concerning athletes' health and families.
7. Use of AI
We use AI tools to assist reporting — drafting recaps, surfacing statistics and translating content. AI-assisted material is labelled and is always reviewed and approved by a human editor before it publishes. Full details are in our AI Disclosure.
8. Corrections and updates
We correct significant errors promptly and transparently. Corrected articles carry a note explaining what changed and when. To report an error, email corrections@sportzadda.com. Live articles are updated continuously, with timestamps to show freshness.
9. User contributions and moderation
Comments and community contributions are welcome but moderated. We remove content that is abusive, hateful, defamatory or unlawful, and we may restrict accounts that repeatedly break the rules.
10. Conflicts of interest
Our journalists disclose any financial or personal interests that could affect their coverage and step aside where a genuine conflict exists. Gifts and hospitality are declined or declared per our internal code.
11. Feedback and complaints
We take complaints seriously. Contact our editors at newsroom@sportzadda.com or through our contact page, and we will respond in good faith.
